  I've been thinking a lot over the last week about what I want to post.
  Unfortunately, life has changed a lot in the last decade. I'm short on time, and already late for
  my job as I write this. Working on New Year's Eve sucks, but that's how life unfolds sometimes. I
  also know that a lot of you have great flashes to post, and decided that I would just leave one
  last mark this year instead of uploading a flurry in the last minute. I have no reason to take
  more spotlight than I've earned, and I feel you all deserve as much more than I do.
  That is why I've determined that I would only upload a single flash today. But decisions like
  this are never easy when its meant to be your finale. I've spent the last week mulling over that
  question, and still found myself at an impasse.

  What should I pick as my send off?
  Should I pick the best flash that I ever saved? The first? Or the most influential?
  Perhaps I should I pick the best flash I ever made? The first? The most well received?

  This morning finally came, and I still find myself at that hurdle, unable to decide on my own.
  With a simple roll of a die, I've made my choice.

  I first came to 4chan in 2006 after learning about it from z0r. /f/ was the first board I
  frequented; mainly because I liked animation and image boards were still an alien concept to me
  .I admired you all and wanted to join, but didn't know how to start. I was late in the game to
  start making my own flashes, but the time I spent here gave me the confidence to eventually take
  the dive in early 2012.
  Taken from a short loop I found on /gif/, ripped from a movie I never watched (The GoodTimesKid),
  back when I was first introduced to Caravan Palace (Bambous), I finally assembled my first flash.
  And with no clue how to properly adjust stage size, I uploaded it with a giant white space on the
  bottom, a regret I carried with myself for the next 8 years. Oh well. It's character, I guess.
