Not only is the art great this is pixel art done with a flash grid, meaning this is natively
flash vector, not bitmap in flash

There is a plugin that allows you to do pixel art natively in flash. It does it by creating a
grid corresponding to the size you chose. Seeing how you can zoon into this seamlessly really
well I am inclined to believe this is what it is.
