Had to finish it with a mouse because my tablet cable broke.

I imagine it's rarely worth the cost repairing some cable instead of just buying a new one if you

I have never tried to fix a wire before.
I don't have any of the tools or even electric tape to fix it, the fizxwould probably be very
wonky, and I am paranoid, being a newbie, that a bad fix could shorten the lifespan of some
component.
The new cable should be 15$ total and be here is a few days. Gonna buy an actual pegboard and
holemaker at the same time too. Up until now I have been using a cardboard strip with nails
sticking out.
