Does anyone know how to transfer characters in this from the web browser version to the offline
version? I have the .sol save files but they're of no use.

every time you open a flash file that creates local files, they should appear in the AppData
folder.
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\(Probably a random
String?).
In this folder should be all saved .sol files.
Saved elements from 4chan should be in a subfolder of ../4cdn.org/f/FLASHNAME.swf.
your offline data is probably in the folder #localWithNet or localhost.
so it should be enough to replace the .sol files in the local folder
