fyi the space dragon fight is easy if you get the hidden shield in the hidden area of the second
base don't buy the upgrade for the shield at the start or you can't get it

No, you can still get it. The UI is confusing but if you select the shield in equipment menu ->
inspect -> move to inventory, the shield slot becomes empty and you can pick the Phase Shield
from the Malfunctioning Machine. It's totally useless to have a second shield in the inventory,
but you can do it.
