There are several versions of Pico's School. This is the one currently up on https://www.newground
s.com/portal/view/310349 and I'm not sure if it's on swfchan yet. There may have been a minor tweak
in the past two years. Or the filesize is just different somehow.

The earliest version was made in 1999 and have less audio bitrate than this one. That swf file was
just 375 KiB or 379 KiB (two old releases because there was some text changes). I think the 375 KiB
version is the oldest because there's no play button in the beginning and there's some text with a
spelling error saying "The remainding soundtrack is by HIVE... I pray that he doesn't mind."

This new version (from 2016) has a lot higher bitrate and different music without copyright
infringement. In the original it was "Ultrasonic Sound" by Hive and in this new version the music
was custom made by Johnny Guy (aka Real Faction). Found this interview with him:

Listening to the original song by Hive can be quite nostalgic:

Something had indeed changed inside the flash:
2018 version: http://swfchan.com/44/215346/?310349_pico_20060910.swf
This version: http://swfchan.com/48/239391/?Pico%27s+School.swf
Not sure exactly what, something minor no doubt.

If anybody is wondering what "Kein mehrheit für die mitleid!" means it's a reference to the German
band "KMFDM". From some random places online:

>The name is an initialism for the nonsensical and grammatically incorrect German phrase "Kein
Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid", which literally translates as "no majority for the pity" but is
typically given the loose translation of "no pity for the majority" or "no mercy for the masses".
>The most common account of the origin of the name involves frontman Sascha Konietzko cutting
headlines from German newspapers and shuffling around the words to produce the now infamous
expression. The name was shortened to "KMFDM" in 1985 in order to simplify the long phrase.
>When the band first toured the US in 1989-1990, band members and their associates began using
alternate English meanings for their name to tease journalists who did not understand German. The
most prominent and most widely repeated was "Kill Mother Fucking Depeche Mode".
>Confusion often arises regarding the correct German expansion of the acronym, primarily stemming
from the aforementioned language issues. In German, nouns possess genders that require proper
declension of any preceding articles or adjectives. In the true phrase, the articles preceding the
nouns "Mehrheit" and "Mitleid" are inflected for the wrong gender. However, swapping the two nouns
yields the grammatically correct "Kein Mitleid Für Die Mehrheit", which additionally translates
directly as "no pity for the majority". Adding to the confusion is the fact that this "correct"
phrase appears within the lyrics to the song "Megalomaniac", which Konietzko revealed was done in
order to confuse people who were always telling the band their name was wrong.
>The name has more rumored meanings than they have hit songs, but officially it's German, and it
means "Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid." In English that translates to "No Pity for the Majority."
It's a sort of anti-society protest thing, you see.

The music that plays in the original Pico's School flash (not the version I posted today) when the
kid at the start gets out of his chair is "Godlike" by KMFDM: https://youtu.be/gPuTqmcs16E
