[_] With the death of flash at the end of the year, has anyone considered making a /f/ simulator
Anonymous 08/10/20(Mon)08:08:53 No.3436272
What I'm thinking is there is a standalone program that will pull flashes from swfchan.com and
will randomly generate a new list of flashes everyday. Maybe one section for the simulated board
and another with actual real time user created threads. I hope this happens, I don't know shit
about coding.

That's a pretty cool idea, I don't know much about coding either.

Well yes, this could be possible downloading the swf files then play them with Swiff Player,
always did that... Spread the word!!!

This gave me an idea, using bittorrent for a tribler-style program that would sync up a list of
swfs between users, creating some kind of decentralized /f/.
I'm pretty sure that someone with technical experience could make it.

a P2P soulseekqt like software where you enter a bunch of themed rooms with possible chat system
and have a search option

Personally, I just think we need to get Ruffle up an running in here. I might have some influence
over the project being a finacial investor in the project, so I'm going to try to bring this idea
up with them.
However, your idea does sound like a pretty good, cause it would be simpler to implement, and
wouldn't require any medoling with the mods. Somebody should do that.

I think this'd work well, don't know what would go into putting something like that together
though.
