Happens to me too. Firefox just decides that it doesn't want to run flash sometimes.

I found a solution. Looks like 4chan started adding the x-frame-options HTTP header set to DENY
for flashes, which tells the browser not to allow it to be embedded anywhere. The Ignore
X-Frame-Options Header addon wasn't working for me, but some header modification addons worked.
For example, the simple-modify-headers addon.

I was about to make the same post.
I accidentally allowed Firefux to update today, and [Embed] no longer works.
Better though than the last update, which caused random flashes to occasionally send my machine
into blackscreen cycle and sometimes reboot, when opened or clicked. It doesn't seem to be doing
it now, but yes, flash links now only work in new pages.

Well, I still have the blackscreen problem.
Just opened FishingForControl.swf using embed and got crashed.
I don't know if it's a Firefox issue, or a Windows 10 issue; both were updated a few weeks ago
and then this happened.
I want to go back to WinXP days when everything was awesome and everything just worked.

Went to test this out on SaturdayYuri and when it didn't load immediately I changed tabs thinking
I fucked up the configuration then when it started blasting out of my speakers 3 seconds later I
peed myself and fell over.

Yeah, it's definitely 4chan's fault for setting x-frame-options to deny. But it's up to to the
browser to honor that or not. Since it still works in old firefox versions they must be ignoring
x-frame-options or something. Probably 4chan accidentally set the x-frame-options a long time ago
and no one noticed because of a bug with firefox that just got fixed lol.
