The image is large, you so may have to release the click-hold to reposition the cursor. This doesn't seem to work in the gray areas, so I haven't found the snail yet - only the banana and peppermint guy.
>> Anon 65759 Oh, crap - apparently it's possible to get the image stuck. If you click on the very corner of the area rug, you may have to click on one of the instructional icons to get it to release. I never found the snail, but I did discover that you can adjust the zoom with the mouse scroll wheel.
