In the end I just commented out the call to the crypto function and I could just enter the plain hashes and it would compare that. I looked a bit into how long it would take to bruteforce through the md5's based on length since md5 is so old and weak, still would take several weeks to months with the longest being 12 that we have with an alphabet consisting only of lowercase letters. As some of you might have noticed, We have 1 code with numbers which increases the complexity and therefore needed computing power even more.
