File: headcase.swf-(1.12 MB, 550x400, Game)
[_] Anon 3389381 I decided to check out Nitrome's website for the first time in years, and apparently they disabled all of the accounts for some legal reason. I don't even remember my account. But now it's gone.
>> [_] Anon 3389382 This file may not work. I downloaded it off of another website, but it was in a roundabout fashion, since Nitrome didn't have a download link to it on their website. If anyone smarter than I am wants to figure out how to properly save this game and post it, that would be much appreciated. http://www.nitrome.com/games/headcase/
>> [_] Anon 3389412 >># http://www.nitrome.com/blog/articles/142 6/ >This post is to tell you about some important changes we are making largely in reaction to a new European law called GDPR that has came into effect >Well in a nutshell it’s a law to help protect European citizens from companies keeping and using data collected about a user without their consent. Though it’s aimed at Europeans it is not a requirement that they live in Europe, so in effect any site that has a global audience (like Nitrome.com) needs to react to this change. more importantly, this is depressing >With regards to the browser games, they will still be there! We are fully aware of the increasingly diminished support for Flash games in browsers and its impending shutdown in a couple of year’s time. We also however don’t like the idea of killing games we poured countless hours into making and wiping them from existence. So there is still going to be a dedicated area of the site to access them for as long as Flash games are viable. In addition we have brought a couple of the games to mobile now and we have more on the way. We intend to keep looking at ways we can keep as much of our back catalogue alive as is financially viable to do so going forward. this is just one site that have dedicated years upon years to flash and big companies just decide to make them not work anymore. i'm sure they all still receive millions of global visitors every month, it isn't right what chrome, firefox etc is doing in removing flash support for an arbitrary reason when was the last time you heard about some big flash exploit in the news? i don't think ive read anything like it since 2015 or whatever. clearly requiring people to click-to-allow a flash to load is enough, no reason to remove support when it is still being used by so many
>> [_] Anon 3389418 >># Yeah, it's very unfortunate. Maybe they should put a bunch of them in a collection to release on Switch or something. I'd buy a collection.
>> [_] Anon 3389423 >># you might wanna suggest that to them. i just hope there's some browser that will keep flash support even after 2020. id change to it.
