Just made this. How do you fix the short gap between audio loops?

In your case, there is a short ~0.1s silence at the end of the sound clip. Not a flash problem.
Fix the sound clip and it should be ok.

that half second gap will always be there if you import mp3 into your flash project because mp3
is a garbage filled container that stores all the unnecessary id tags that are stored at the
start of the audio (check spectogram and zoom in)
so what you need to do is convert that mp3 loop into wav at 44.1kHz and then import that into
flash and there, in the library tab, right click on the audio file, hit properties, and there
compress as mp3, uncheck stereo stereo to mono, set bitrate to highest (up to 160kbps) and
quality to best
and you're done
it's elementary

At first I figured that it might've been a problem with the .mp3, so I used a .wav file, but it
persisted. Thanks for the solution.

Alright, I'm probably retarded, cause that didn't work for me. https://i.imgur.com/Vp9kYFp.png
I've set it up like that and it's same as it was before

are you sure? can you upload the files, or just the wav, so I can check?

Yeah, here you go: https://gofile.io/d/0G3sbA
Since it's pretty late, I'll check back tommorrow, thanks!

so it turns out there is an additional silent gap in the wav so I had to manually cut it because
usually the gap that mp3 creates is shorter
I put a random mp3 for comparison and in the other picture you can see in the timeline the flat
line on the audio waves there (layer 4 is the fixed audio and layer 5 is your version)

here's the file of the fixed audio loop

also why is there only 1 channel? unchecking stereo to mono makes no difference then

remember to post it here instead of just linking it so swfchan can catch it too

Thank you! As for the 1 channel, I just ripped the audio using some swf decompiler straight from
OrinJam.swf, so either it's same as it was in that file or something got jumbled up.
