Can't you do that through flash projector?

Seconding adobe's flash projector. There are also freeware players compatible with .swf that can
manage your library but be careful what you download

You can even set your browser settings to open any downloaded flash files in the projector
automatically. It's a pain but it beats Ruffle

i dunno about it being a pain, it's easy to start doing it and you get used to it quickly

why not use a browser that still supports the flash plugin? you can view flashes online and
offline in there

I rolled back to an older version of Firefox purely to do this and simultaneously realized how
much better Firefox used to be.

only option is to use an inferior browser for the modern web, or multiple browsers (which i would
think is a hassle) or firefox esr (but that will also end soon so it would be a temporary
solution)

Get Pale Moon. It's 2015 Firefox with updates.

Palemoon works fine for 4chan, hell, it works faster for 4chanX than chrome for me.

what players do you recommend? i was using GOM player pre 2021 and it worked great. my issue with
the current 32.0 flash player is the fact it opens multiple instances and you cant lock the size
so im looking for one with the features atleast
