flash is broken, stops half way though, I remember that used to happen to me when downloading any

That has nothing to do with being broken.
This is just a regular video, which means flash will preload what it thinks will suffice with
your connection and then play as it loads the rest.
Obviously if your connection varies in speed or is just shitty generally (like with using TOR)
then you will reach the end of the preloaded frames and need to preload another time (delay)
until the video plays again.
Flash has excellent streaming capacity, only H264 embed videos need to be preloaded entirely
upfront.
