Anonymous 02/23/22(Wed)05:50:15 No.3480197 Today, I decided to finally make my first flash. Just a simple comfy gif/music loop. So I loaded up Adobe Animate, plugged in the gif and mp3 and exported the swf, works perfectly. >13mb Shit, gotta compres my files. Couldn't figure out how to do so within the program, so I settled with compressing the gif and mp3 via 3rd party browser programs to the point where the swf would fit the filesize limit. So I finally upload the swf to /f/ only to get hit by: "Error: Corrupted file or unsupported file type.". Serious question bros, how do I into /f/lash? >> [_] Anonymous 02/23/22(Wed)06:17:23 No.3480198 idk how Animate works (or doesn't work). I think most people here use CS6. >> [_] Anonymous 02/23/22(Wed)08:59:44 No.3480203 Well, after trying out random things, publishing it before exporting seems to be what I had to do. So I'll probably come back to contribute new flashes from time to time. >> [_] Anonymous 02/23/22(Wed)09:38:50 No.3480204 >>3480197 this >>3480198 and this http://boards.swfchan.net/1922/ >> [_] MrFreeware 02/23/22(Wed)10:15:02 No.3480206 >>3480197 >unsupported file type just use Flash CS6 (No Flash CC or Animate) https://archive.4plebs.org/f/thread/3428866/#3428928 >my first flash I'm eager to see it >> [_] Anonymous 02/23/22(Wed)21:05:18 No.3480237 >>3480197 Adobe Animate still has swf as an export option but you CAN'T upload it to /f/? I can think of two possible causes. Either you are using the new compression (lzma) of swf files which I don't think is supported on /f/. I could imagine that Animate uses that compression as default? You have to remove compression or export using the old compression type (deflate). Or Adobe has fucked up the swf format. I think it can still be imported into After Effects so maybe they have modified it somehow? The compression thing seems more likely to me though. |
