What do people use to play swfs now? I haven't been around since they shut flash off.

Flash, obviously. There are still pre-killswitch versions available. SWFchan can probably help
you nab one. Oh, and don't use Chrome or Firefox. Firstly for obvious reasons, secondly because
they completely cut their flash support. Use Waterfox or Pale Moon, or any other browser that
still supports it.

I deleted the Firefox (83.0) updater on top of disabling auto-updates and replaced flash with the
version 32.0.0.371.

you don't have to use old version of flash actually
http://swfchan.com/end made a hex edited version (you can do it yourself) that kills the
killswitch
if you use it though I recommend setting a mm.cfg to disable the annoying popups though
>>3466078
no, you're just using embed which features ruffle emulation
it's a poor man's alternative though

Flash player on Firefox ESR. I was lazy to update so I never got the poisoned version.

Very interesting, didn't know they killed the killswitch. On the other hand though, are the
differences between .371 and .465 THAT important?

not really, just some minor security patches
the likelihood that anyone bothers making a flash exploit now is very slim, though if someone do
bother they would probably make use of something that was detailed in adobe's patch notes prior
to .465 so using the last patch is not completely unwarranted
