Fever always makes me delirious. I can't think clearly and keep imagining outlandish situations.
It's like I'm dreaming while awake. It makes me twist and turn in bed and sometimes I even talk
nonsense to myself.
I'm currently recovering from a fever and it was another awful experience. My fever wasn't even
that high at 39°C, and still it knocked me out for the entire day.

i barely remember most of my fever dreams since its been so long since i was sick, most of my
normal dreams get pretty vivid or bizarre though, especially when it pertains to a fear

I'm not sure if i'm answering your question OP, but i had severe fever or two as a kid, i had
hallucinations n' shit.
I remember that i had fucked up sense of touch, thing didn't feel normal like they used to. I
coudn't sleep because bedding felt so bizarre and irritating.
I also heard a strange paper or dry leaves crushing noise coming from my feet. I was laughing at
it at first, but when i told my mother about it, she said she couldn't hear it and that's the
moment i started to realize how bad my fever is.
I think this memory made me afraid about loosing my connection to the reality. I was never drunk
or take drugs in my life and i'll keep it that way to the end of my life.
