Old news. It's not even like it works now. Most websites black-list IE and it's almost impossible
to browse the internet without TLS 1.2

>> [_] Anonymous 05/21/21(Fri)03:14:08 No.3466072

I thought it already was discontinued, as in not worked on or updated by Microsoft. Is it used by
people still on Windows XP or something?

BYOND, the thing that people use to play SS13, requires it to work, or so I'm given to
  understand. Could be a problem.

Almost every fucking company big enough to have some IT infrastructure has legacy webshits on
  their intranet that require IE/ActiveX.
And these will be continue to supported by IE mode in Edge until 2030 at least.

  >Is Space Station 13 Abandonware?
Kinda. The original SS13 is discontinued, but variants on the original game are still played to
  this day.
