[_] /f/ Presents: The 2021 Hallows' Eve Flash Collab Anonymous 10/01/21(Fri)16:07:48 No.3473181
Greetings, flash artists of /f/. Today officially marks day 1 of the Halloween Collab entry
process,
with the deadline of course being, October 31st. This flash collab is an experiment to see what
spooky ideas this wonderful flash community can give birth to within the span of a full, 31 day
month. I will keep an eye on the board and repost the thread whenever it's marked for deletion,
but if you happen to see the thread sinking to the bottom of the board prematurely, a bump would
be very considerate and appreciated.
And now, a message for the artists that want to partake in this flash collab. The two biggest
limitations of this collab are:
1.) The 10mb file limit
2.) The Halloween theme
Of course, your submission does not have to be focused solely on the Halloween holiday,
just make sure the theme of your creation is spooky. The true spirit of Halloween is crude,
frightening and
disgusting, so don't be afraid to get dirty. Be as imaginative as possible!
And before anyone asks, yes, loops are allowed.
Before submitting, please be considerate of your file size. Try to compress your sounds so
there's more
room for all sorts of different submissions. This especially goes out to flash loopers.
When you finish your submission, send it to this email address: [email protected]
If you prefer a name to be credited with, or wish to remain anonymous, please tell me in the
email.
Although the official deadline is October 31st, try to complete and submit your flash within the
same
week a little bit before then. Halloween flash ghouls don't get to slack, we've got anons to
scare!

so is the idea that all the files you receive will be compiled into one giant flash?

sounds fun, maybe someone will do join in. hope you don't plan to put it on youtube as well and
make money.

>hope you don't plan to put it on youtube as well and make money.
Putting it on YT defeats the point of an interactive flash collab. And besides, it's a cartoon
collab all about halloween horror and grossness, making it undemonitizable.

Interesting idea, but I'm not sure if a low traffic board like this would bring many entries

You can run Flash 8 perfectly fine through wine and CS6 also works but you'd more than likely
need the Portable version running 32-bit and install some components.
