I get it, you want to show off how great the pixel art is and absorb the players into this cosy atmosphere similarly to how YKK's OVA did, but fuck, why do you have to be so damn dramatic about your indieshit game? Waiting nearly 10 seconds just for the title to appear, then the start button a couple more seconds after is just irritating. It's even worse when it happens every single fucking time you start the game, and doesn't get any faster no matter what you do. Then, the unskippable cutscenes, terrible input lag on controllers that aren't the Xbox 360/PS3 controller, the shoddy programming leading to stupid bugs like teleporting around and shit in the first mini game, and so on.
