yes, very much. i hate how corporate everything has become. i hate how much censorship there is.
i miss the old wild-west-like era of web 1.0 and 2.0.
granted, there are a bunch of niche places where it can be somewhat like the old days. it sucks
that this kind of thing is the exception now, rather than the norm, but you gotta take what you
can.

I remember Chariots of Fire midis on webpages. I remember Alta Vista. I remember making boot
diskettes. I remember the OG Happy Puppy and IGN for finding cheats to screw with games. I
remember Joe Cartoon and Retarded Animal Babies. I remember itty bitty baby. I remember LAN
parties pounding Surge, Mtn Dew, and Dr. Pepper. I remember writing down directions and
crosschecking them with yahoo maps and mapquest and crosschecking that with a road atlas. I
remember buying an early BlackBerry at the early part of my career and enjoying car sites and
shit as I waited in whatever lobby and thinking it was wild. I remember the cat vigilantes and
win threads and getting scared as shit of /b/ because I didn't want to get v&. I remember
