the only thing you can really do is accept it, there's not going to be a huge influx of new users
for anything flash related. Even just getting the swfs to play requires more work than the
average person is willing to put in. The board still has a solid core and people like OP who pop
back in on occasion for a nostalgia hit. The only thing we can really do is carry on, post some
rare stuff and some classic stuff and appreciate what little OC we're still getting.

Just tried that. How was this so hard to find? Googling how to get Flash back brings up so much
bullshit. I tried Ruffle, that shitty flash emulator, going back to old browser versions, ended
up settling with Waterfox Classic which has Flash enabled. But this Projector thing is really
easy, too. Thanks.

honestly a big sticky explaining this stuff and providing links on /a/ and especially /v/ would
really help. doing that and upping the size limit for .swfs could really breath new life into the
board
I know a lot of guys who still post here regularly and guys (like myself) who used to and only
come back every few months to check things out might not like the idea. it would bring in an
influx of some sort and many wouldn't be the best posters but either way as is /f/ is just
shamefully slow. having so few regulars and practically no newfags just means stagnation. you
post something here and nine times out of ten you get no replies even, and the tenth time is when
you post some shit about how dead it is like OP did
it's not interesting and that drives more regulars, like myself, away.
either way though it's not fucking happening because the moderation of this website isn't exactly
in touch with the needs of every specific board.

To me /f/ is the last stronghold of "old" 4chan. The 4chan from when I was a kid and my dick
worked. It's slow and pathetic, but I prefer /f/ being a place to preserve a slice of what I
