and a section that used to be, “‘Here’s your little boy,’ she said. ‘He needs to go on a diet’,”
has been altered to read simply: “Here’s your little boy,” In Matilda, the description of Mrs
Trunchbull’s “great horsey face” has been changed to just “face,” and “eight nutty little idiots”
now reads “eight nutty little boys”.

in James and the Giant Peach, the Cloud-Men are now Cloud-People. A notice that sits at the
bottom of the copyright page of Dahl's latest written editions reads: “The wonderful words of
Roald Dahl can transport you to different worlds and introduce you to the most marvellous
characters. This book was written many years ago, and so we regularly review the language to
ensure that it can continue to be enjoyed by all today”. The Roald Dahl Story Company, which owns
the works, has defended the decision, concluding that “it’s not unusual to review the language”
used in stories of the past and that the changes were “small and carefully considered”. “We want
to ensure Roald Dahl’s wonderful stories and characters continue to be enjoyed by all children
today,”
Political correctness, just like in orwell's 1984 wants to rewrite history to suck the fun out of
life like vampires. A world where it was always woke

>Political correctness
Nah, it's not even that. Literally no one asked for these changes.
It's that no one gives a fuck about Roald Dahl anymore, so they're trying to drum up controversy
to sell copies.

You need to read a book. Any book. You're retarded.

Politically Correct: "Someone who is politically correct believes that language and actions that
could be offensive to others, especially those relating to sex, gender, and race, should be
avoided."
It's the definition of politically correct to change "female" to "woman" to be inclusive, remove
the word "ugly" and "horsey face", change "men" to "people", remove "fat", remove "idiot" and
remove references to colours.
I remember this politically correct shit even at school I wrote a story which said "Shut up" in
it and it was corrected by the teacher to "be quiet". Doesn't have the same impact.
The new "copies" again will have the fun sucked dry out of them and if they keep getting
rewritten the original purpose of the piece of art is lost. Matilda being a classic for the
corrupt used-car saleman.

>You're retarded.
You don't think the wokism/political correctness doesn't want to rewrite history so it's always
been the woke version? Think again.
