  I don't visit often enough and I am going to change that. The internet has moved on and you can
  really feel it in the board stats. Is it even possible for newfriends to exist here? Half the
  files don't even load right through Ruffle, you need to have a standalone flash player to make
  them work right at this point.

  If they jump the hurdle of downloading a flash player, there's a lot of jokes and history that
  don't get posted as often because the overall posts are down. How long would it take to pick up
  on the board culture?

  remember when we were getting flooded with US election related YouTube clips
  shouldn't take long as long as you post quality content but what we lack is actual discussion.

  It's not, or it's very hard to find ways to attract to new posters.
  Sometimes I log on and there are no replies to any of the threads on the board, not even one.
  It's a shame.
  Maybe if mods increased the filesize limit to 20 MB there could be more variety in the files
  posted and thus more discussion.

  I still go here because it's the only board that reminds me of why I originally came here a
  decade ago. Honestly I'm surprised they didn't cull this board when flash was killed, so I am
  glad for that. But I wish more the website was like /f/, no one wants to have fun anymore.

  should have been done 10 years ago, won't happen now.
  i remember when zone made his first flash over 10 MiB (or maybe /f/ limit was still 8 MiB back
  then, can't remember), that's when it dawned on me just how many thousands of flashes we could
  not post and talk about on /f/.
  the excuse that "people would just post 20 MiB videos" doesn't make sense, people just posted the
  same videos anyway but encoded in worse quality.

  I occasionally link to relevant flashes on /f/ in threads on other boards. I try to post ones
  that work with Ruffle, but include instructions on how to play them with the flash player
  otherwise.
  I think most of the time people just look at the linked flash and then leave.
