either file, export, export movie as .avi but sometimes that doesn't work because flash can be
complicated to export as .avi. What I do which is easier is I use my HDMI gamecapture elgato
device. Then put it in adobe premiere to edit it etc.

I used jpexs ffdec to extract the pictures
ffmpeg to make a vid
you could use above mentioned adobe premiere or sony vegas but I find ffmpeg to have the best
ratio for quality:filesize

heh, managed to find the prompts for ffmpeg as well
rename images to image001.png, image 002.png, etc
ffmpeg -framerate 24 -i img%03d.png output.webm
and then loop the video until the audio ends
ffmpeg -stream_loop -1 -i output.webm -i "Bamboo Bimbo - Kiss.mp3" -shortest -map 0:v:0 -map

If you have the .fla, do as >>3490554 says, export it as a .avi and compress it afterward.
If you have the swf, use Swivel, it's what Newgrounds uses to convert all of their old flashes
into videos. I haven't used it in years, though. I didn't like how it hardly allowed me to
control how it encoded and crashed when I converted to an uncompressed format.
You can also use ffdec to export frames from the swf or any of its symbols as frames and then
turn them into gifs or videos.

FLASH HAS REPUTABLY HAD THE WORST EXPORT OPTIONS IN ITS HISTORY; HAS NEVER EXPORTED ANY VIDEO
FILE WITHOUT A TON OF HICCUPS ON OLDER AND NEWER COMPUTERS SO PLEASE STOP USING IT.
Use swivel from newgrounds.com instead.
If that doesnt work, use OBS and screen record on a newer machine. It will drop frames for
certain flashes but who cares.
