Hi /f/, just wanted to share this humble swf with you due to my bday.
I discovered this board in 2016 and slowly fell in love with it. Thanks to some flashes I have
came across with new anime, visual artists, music and the 'old' internet culture. I spent hours
searching for new flashes in swfchan and 4plebs and I've always found something interesting.
Since the Great Reset is upon us, I somewhat try to preserve these gems in a YT channel but I'm
afraid they can be taken down anytime.
Anyways, I just wanted to say thank you for existing. I hope 4chan (and the archives) can still
be online in the upcoming years ahead so new generations can learn about the 'old' internet
before it's fully sanitized and controlled.

  Best wishes,
  Anon

  Gracious celebration of birth!
I strongly suggest archiving the original flashes and hosting an FTP server or seeding a torrent
  for the flashes.

I hope that too, but I highly doubt that the new generations will learn about the old internet.
With every generation there are a few people who learn about and use things of the past, but it's
a very small amount. Most people live in their web browser and visit the same few sites. Not many
people actually "surf" the web nowadays.
But hey, telnet BBS's still exist, despite there being more BBS's than people to use them!
There's hope for the old internet...
