For some odd reason, I made it to the last orange on the first try with only self shots, failing the next 10 times with various other combinations. Spinning seems cursed, or maybe it's just my luck.

In fact the smart thing to do here is to shoot. If there's one more shot left and your opponent has it he can just shoot you.
