Are you aware of the module playback library called flod? (github.com/photonstorm/Flod) I haven't
used it myself so I can't attest to it's ability but it may be useful here unless it's too much
effort. Here's some usage guide in case desired; forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=25309.0
Also is this in relation to red vs grey?

yeah, i know the library through ‘FLOD3Demo_1_0.swf’
https://archive.4plebs.org/f/thread/3273264/#3273264
the only thing is that i don't use AS3 mainly cause of Ruffle (and because my coding skills = ass)
but yes, the effort would probably be very small to implement this.

ok this took longer than expected...
So I had a look at the forum you mentioned and downloaded Flod 4.
1st problem -> no Flash but a FlashDevelop project.
2nd problem -> sample project no longer available
Lets just make a new project in Flash CS6.
Ok how the fuck do i create classes in Flash? i have never done anything in AS3 but i know you
need at least a ‘main class’ and you have to have an overview of your files somehow etc.. it
turns out that my "Project" menu was just broken.

Then i tried FlashDevelop because why not. well you couldn't download the IDE anymore. so
archive.org to the rescue. Then I tried to pull the old project files with archive.org and
because archive.org is just such a chad, it of course worked.
Next problem -> no SDK. Ok no problem. FlashDevelop can download it automatically... and that
doesn't work anymore. so I went back to archive.org and downloaded the Flex SDK directly from
Adobe and integrated it into FlashDevelop. I build the project and hey, it worked. Now I wanted
to try it again in Flash.
In short I had to throw a few .SWZ files into this path
C:\Users\[your_username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Flash CS6\en_US\Configuration\WindowSWF
after that the ‘project’ menu worked. don't ask me why.

I was then able to create the classes etc., selected my main AS3 file in the project and it
worked immediately.
I assume I could have created the files externally with an editor and that would have worked but
hey.
so here you go. this flash but only the tenth of the size

the route with FlashDevelop was unnecessary, but it shows me how much has already disappeared
from the internet in relation to Flash.

Of course it does not work in Ruffle

Godly, thanks for your efforts and moreso for logging them. Seeing this in 300kb is pretty sick,
especially considering tracker music filesize is more independent of track length and so that
size is more indicative. Also motivating, I know that library out of intention to make my own
swfs one day, but am lazy.
