7483 20.3GB of them are swfs
1389 2.0GB of swfs are from a full rip of a website
568 1.6GB of swfs are in the unsorted junk folder
470 swfs are duplicate
3468 swfs totaling 16.2GB have been deleted since December of 2022, some multiple times, much of
it already in the collection*
Most numerous non-swf files are yt-dlp infojson (youtube comment rips) and thumbnails and Wayback
Machine json
Largest non-swf files are carbonlad's music videos from newgrounds, which I shouldn't be hanging
on to because most already have swf counterparts available outside of newgrounds

tru, but I was more replying to being no hope for /f/. They could've removed it when flash was
gone, but they left it so we old men can bring out our cards to show. I also don't think there is
something wrong with making space, so far we still have swfchan and some other sites hosting
flash still. He could've made a list in case he wanted to see or search for them again. My folder
is small because I care about space too, and I only save what I truly like.
Tho prices on storage are good lately, right?

10066 swfs ~37,5GB
some are duplicates. most are from VNanashi's Flash Pack with 6434 swfs.
with a duplicate search I get 2376 duplicate files. (9,3GB)
so 7690 unique swfs. from various sources. newgrounds, /f/, archive.org and from packs from guys
like you.

You can also make your own collection on swfchan:

if you have the patience to do it, you need to add them 1 by 1
pros: it's accessible everywhere and swfchan supports ruffle, so it's also watchable on any device
every swf ever is on there anyway
you "free up space"
cons: you don't actually have the files, so if it goes down all your swfs go away with it
if swfchan is down (temporarily) you can't access your swfs
batch download of collection files is not possible yet and probably won't ever be for obvious
reasons, so there's no easy way to mirror your collection if you delete your files anyway
I switched to swfchan collecting, but I have an old batch of /f/ files still on my PC, in case I
ever need a swf file or two.
