Outside of some few woke things it's good: implied racemixing in the intro movie and the "body
type" problem instead of picking male/female gender. There's of course also the standard "woman
is the same as a man" problem but I shake that off since Starship Troopers also had that so it
feels like a parody.
There's A LOT of grinding needed if you want to get to the semi-paywalled stuff without paying,
which is retarded for a game costing 40 bucks. They've set the costs of things way too high,
clearly prioritizing getting people to buy super credits instead of having as much fun as
possible with a game they bought (luckily it is still fun enough).
If you're casual it becomes impossible to get late game stuff without paying real money since
"super samples" only spawn when playing on high difficulty. Really greedy of the devs.
Really should have recorded more voice lines, you hear the same stuff way too often. Even the
same words just spoken in different ways would have been appreciated.
The time between missions is bloated, I really don't need that time sink in watching animations.
Definitely recommending the game after all of that. I assume they will add another enemy faction
as well, since Helldivers 1 had more than the current two (robots and insects). If they paywall
additional content behind DLC I will get pissed though, it's greedy enough as it is.
