File: clementine.swf-(9.85 MB, 1280x720, Other) [_] Anon 3464410 This was clearly made in flash, even of the rare use of 3D kind, but sadly it looks like the swf was never released. >> [_] Anon 3464466 >># nah, this doesn't look like it was made in flash at all >> [_] Anon 3464467 >># This looks like flash. I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few flashes in my time. >> [_] Anon 3464478 >># I mean, it was probably edited afterwards in some video editing tool. That's most likely why it was only released in video as well. But the core animations looks very flash motion tweeny. Also small animators from that time tend to use flash mainly. As I said, flash was rarely used with such a pseudo 3D visual effect, but it's possible. >> [_] Anon 3464483 >># >># Creating geometrically precise parallax with 10+ layers of depth and moving camera is pain in the ass with Flash. Nobody would want to go through that effort, especially since better animation software existed 15 years ago that was more suitable for parallax AND actual 3D. Every animation software has tweening, they just call it different (less cringy) names. What separates Flash from proper animation software, and also what gives its trademark jank which everyone blames on something called "tween" without even knowing what a "tween" really is, is the lack of individual controls for dimensions in scaling/translation. OP's cartoon is clearly not made by a "small aminator" but a professional or at the very least a freelancer. >> [_] Anon 3464487 >># this, the smooth shadows/shades following shapes is a giveaway >> [_] Anon 3464492 >># >># that phrase rang a bell |
