If you deleted your folder, shouldn't you have been able to restore it from your recycle bin?
Unless you changed your deletion settings to automatically perma delete anything you simply
delete, did it on purpose or the deletion of your folder was due to your hard drive reformatting,
you must have butter fingers like I have know idea.

Even if you did that, or even formatted, you can still recover it, potentially, if you know what
you're doing.
There's plenty of file utilities that can restore such files.
