Maybe if they gave her a more realistic face it would be more tolerable. I mean, the Gorillaz get away with it because they are meant to be cartoony, but I didn't see the concert, so I could be wrong. Also, what the fuck is up with the crowd? What kind of wierdos get to this like that? too many glow sticks >> [_] Anonymous 03/22/10(Mon)22:38 No.1216351 >>1216350 That's what I said! >> [_] Anonymous 03/22/10(Mon)22:39 No.1216353 >>1216350 its probably just computer animated and all the people there can see is a black face or something who knows for shit, have u been to something like that before? Maybe she wears a miku helmet or whatever >> [_] Anonymous 03/22/10(Mon)22:46 No.1216355 >>1216353 Nope. The people there saw exactly the same thing as what is in the video. They used some projectors and a transparent screen. >> [_] Anonymous 03/22/10(Mon)22:51 No.1216361 Anyone got a Torrent for this concert? >> [_] Anonymous 03/22/10(Mon)22:55 No.1216365 >>1216355 so much for my hi-tech fantasies. :( >>1216361 No. Also, looks like the American and European music industries are in trouble now! Dey's got's dem sum animu music concerts! >> [_] Anonymous 03/22/10(Mon)23:05 No.1216373 >>1216350 So anime isn't 'meant' to look "cartoony?" they probably had vendors/distributors for the glow sticks before the concert. >> [_] Professor Oldfag 03/22/10(Mon)23:17 No.1216383 >>1216336 We can do holograms actually, it's just that "true" holograms are limited in use right now. And also, extremely expensive. I think it's at least 10k USD just to get a small device that projects three-dimensional holograms in a localized area. I'm told some well-funded hospitals have them. I don't understand the physics of it, but it's something like induced stasis of air molecules, followed by progressive projection. So nothing fancy, but we just don't have the means to make it efficient (especially on a large scale like this would have been). Of course, I could be wrong. They might have spent the whole Japanese military budget on that thing. >> [_] Anonymous 03/22/10(Mon)23:22 No.1216386 wtf did i just wat hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggg >> [_] Anonymous 03/22/10(Mon)23:26 No.1216389 could some give me a link to that video? >> [_] Anonymous 03/22/10(Mon)23:32 No.1216396 Dem hips >> [_] Anonymous 03/22/10(Mon)23:36 No.1216398 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jx3TSQul94E&feature=related >> [_] Anonymous 03/23/10(Tue)00:48 No.1216427 >They might have spent the whole Japanese military budget on that thing. no they spent that on that robot that keeps falling down stairs >> [_] Anonymous 03/23/10(Tue)00:54 No.1216433 that.... was disturbing >> [_] FoxX !!9y4w1fXy9JL 03/23/10(Tue)00:56 No.1216435 >>1216350 Neglect that she's 50 ft tall... So i get that she's a part of the Vocaloid software line(and please correct me if im wrong on that.) But what i dont get is what the software Is. You type words, set the pitch, and edit for trills and what not? Also is this program only in japanese or could i just type gibberish and she'll go along. |
