The rich kids' phones were even able to play polyphonic melodies and what you see here is what the advertisement is for. Trying to sell you a .midi file that you could set as your ringtone. Gummi bear, Crazy frog, the small chick. All those started as purchasable ringtones for phones that were advertised on Viva and MTV. Good ol' Viva channel, how I miss you not.
