One of the first (and most surprising) screamers I ever saw was in a Scooby Doo game (believe
it). It was your normal point-and-click adventure puzzle game. When you examined... a sarcophagus
or some shit, I can't even remember, it popped up this little text window and started writing
stuff in it in a small font and a quiet voice started playing on the speakers.
You can see where this is going. The player turns up his speakers and leans in close to read.
SCRREEAAAAAAAM
It didn't even have any bearing on the game, it was just a.. surprise screamer.
