Short guide to the equipment since you only get to choose them ONCE and don't even get a briefing
on them until first combat scene.
Man Handy vs. Handy Manny: Your basic choice of direct attack vs. spread attack. Think carefully
because if you go for the Handy Manny you'll effectively be without a long range attack for most
of the game.
The first melee weapon whatever it's called vs. Angry Munchkin: I always go for the Angry
Munchkin so I don't really know. It's pretty excellent for punching things in the face. However,
if you go with the Handy Manny it's pretty redundant since you'll probably be using that for
short range so think carefully.

Phase inverter vs. polarizoid. Essentially micromanagement question. Are you good at Ikaruga?
Then Polarizoid might be your thing. The Polarizoid WILL have you disadvantaged relative to raw
shielding power, but on the other hand if you go for the second upgrade tree your agility will
make up for it, and you'll also never run out of energy if you can use it properly. The Phase
inverter, meh I don't like either upgrade possibility but I guess you have to figure out what you
like for yourself. Do think about it beforehand. BOSS BULLETS CAN'T BE INVERTED so keep that in
mind. Especially if you ever want to beat level 3.
