There's a bug in the castle ruins area.
If you stand still near the bottom of the area where the guys in purple are, one will keep
spawning and running to you. It's a good way to build up xp without doing anything.

Walkthrough
After the opening dialogue, go south and fight the Satyr. Go west and fight two Alraunes, then
exit the Great Forest. Cross the bridge and go west to Small Town. Heal if needed and buy the
Falchion and Platemail at the armor shop. Fight the Choas Servant lv1 near the grave marker.
Travel to the Centaur Field and fight a few Centaurs to gain experience, boost your HP and STR to
about 500 and 100 respectively. Travel to the Abandoned Castle and wander in until a discussion
appears onscreen. Optionally fight Arachne, Gargoyle, and Chaos Servant lv2. Also challenge the
Crocotta if you haven't already. Return to the Centaur Field and interact with Eris's temple to
continue in the main quest.
>> [_] Anonymous 09/18/10(Sat)22:19 No.1376781
Travel to the Great Forest and interact with Aphrodite's temple. Boost your HP/STR to 1000/250 or
more, then interact with Thor's temple and begin fighting *** enemies like Werewolf, Slime, and
Siegfried. I also fought the Dragon and Mimic at this level of strength, though the Dragon nearly
killed me.
When you feel like you're ready, equip your best gear and go to the Temple of Eris. Choosing to
betray Aphrodite will result in a large sum of negative alignment points and the best armor in
the game, though it only improves on Aphrodite's armor by a lousy 10 points. After defeating the
goddess of your choice, heal and spend experience points, then challenge the Hydra if you haven't
already.

The Labyrinth is filled with **** and ***** monsters, I recommend having at least 1500 HP, 500
STR, 500 WIS, and 1000 MP before entering. The maze can be as easy or as complicated as you want
to make it; wandering constantly North-East will eventually lead to the exit, wandering
constantly South-West will eventually lead to the Minotaur. South, East, North seems to take you
to the exit no matter what path you've taken.
Upon exiting into a grassy area, going west will deposit you outside the Abandoned Castle. Go
east instead, I recommend at least 2000 HP, 1000 STR, 1000 WIS, and 1000 MP to fight Cerberus.
After defeating him, go back to Castle Town to learn Death. Make your way back through the
Labyrinth and run past where Cerberus once was.
>> [_] Anonymous 09/18/10(Sat)22:21 No.1376783
The final boss has 1,000,000 HP and can deal up to 450 damage in a single attack. She's also
capable of healing herself for unknown amounts of HP, and can use a special attack that drains
all but 1 HP. You'll need a lot of HP, high WIS, and high MP for frequent use of the Cure spell.
Stocking up on elixirs also doesn't hurt.
The easy way to win this battle is to repeatedly cast Death, healing and restoring MP as
necessary, until it works. Casting Hex before the battle begins also doesn't hurt. The hard way
is to grind and boost strength until you can kill Astaroth by force alone. With 3820 STR, Gram,
and Berserk, I managed to deal about 2500 damager pet attack and managed to work Astaroth's HP
down by a sliver before I got bored. It's theoretically possible to kill the final boss with
standard attacks, but I haven't done it.
Congratulations

I managed to beat her with 10k everything. The picture (more of a ending cutscene) wasn't worth
the time i wasted to get it. Whats the deal? The first myth complex was awesome, this one seems a
joke in comparison

What is Alignment even for, anyway? Like, does it -matter- if I kill Aphrodite? I haven't noticed
any ill effects yet but I'll be honest and say I'm not paying a whole lot of attention.
>> [_] Anonymous 09/19/10(Sun)01:11 No.1376876
I don't think Alignment does anything in this version of the game.
You get 1 alignment point for killing most enemies, and I think certain bosses might give you
more.
You lose large chunks of alignment for killing something you shouldn't, like the Werewolf,
Siegfried, and betraying Aphrodite.
It didn't influence my ending at all whether I defeated Astaroth with -150 alignment after
killing everything and betraying Aphrodite, nor with +200 alignment without killing the Werewolf
or Seigfried and by staying loyal to Aphrodite.
Maybe I'm missing something.
>> [_] Anonymous 09/19/10(Sun)01:18 No.1376878
>>1376876
With enough negative alignment you can buy a Masamune in the big town shop (it seems to be weaker
than Thor's hammer, though), and if you kill Seigfried and go back to the tombstone where you met
the lv1 Chaos guy you can get his sword (stronger than Thor's hammer)
>> [_] Anonymous 09/19/10(Sun)01:25 No.1376885
>>1376878
Unfortunately, by the time you're using Thor's Hammer you don't need to upgrade your weapon
anymore because you should have plenty of strength, at least enough to beat Cerberus relatively
quickly with minimal grinding. The Dragonslayer isn't that much better than Thor's Hammer anyway.
Plus, it's not hard to kill weak mobs until you've undone the alignment points from killing Sieg
if you really wanted to.
Speaking of grinding, try killing the Red Slime, then saving and reloading to respawn it and
start in the forest.
