  Anyone know any good guides or tutorials for a flash newbie? I decided that I want to learn to
  make some simple flash loops like the ones we're always posting here on /f/, but right now it
  seems something simple like taking an animated gif and adding a looping sound seems incredibly
  complicated.

  Also the inbuild help of flash is very good.
  Other than that I can only advise you to go and search on deviantart.
  There's a shitload of tuts there (the problem there is that you have to filter the shitty ones
  from the good ones. And most suck.)

  Also, if you want to make a loop, do the audio first.
  And .gifs can be embedded by just drag and droping them into flash.
