Homestuck is fucktardedly long, because most of the dialogue with characters is CRAMMED into
massive blocks of Instant Messaging. It's amazing though, especially when the Flash's come out.
The plot makes some sense, even though a lot of people have trouble following it. Overall good.

Well
Terezi (girl with the Libra sign) had just exploded a magic cue ball in the face of Vriska
(Scorpio).
Never mind that Vriska is a BLUH BLUH HUGE BITCH who forced Tavros (Taurus, duh, brown sign) to
jump off a cliff previously, paralysing him from the waist down... Vriska wants revenge.
So she uses her psychic ability to control Tavros yet again. Under her influence, Tavros uses HIS
psychic ability (animal communion specifically) to wake up Terezi's lusus inside its shell. Lusus
are basically animal caretakers of trolls - usually something of a parental figure and protector.
Terezi's lusus being unhatched is pretty unusual, this is the first time it's woken up.

So Terezi's lusus, influenced by Tavros' suggestion, controlled by Vriska, psychically (or
whatever) causes Terezi's DREAMSELF to wake up for the first time. Her dreamself is located on
Prospit, the really gold place.
Normally, after the dreamself has been awakened for the first time, it's active when the normal
body is asleep and vice versa. However, in this case both terezi's normal body and dreamself seem
to be sleepwalking. Terezi is led to walk through Prospit and look up into Skaia.
Problem is, her real body walked through the forest and looked up directly into the sun. Trolls
are nocturnal, most of them can't even stand being in sunlight. Terezi was permanently blinded.

Flash forward a considerable amount of time. All the trolls are playing the game. I'm not even
going to START on this one.
Vriska and Tavros are flying around Vriska's planet (the Land of Maps and Treasure) when suddenly
Aradia appears. She's also a troll. Vriska killed her years ago, but she stuck around as a ghost,
and is at this point of the story a time-travelling troll-ghost-frog-sprite-robot.
Aradia only recently aquired the robot body, and it comes complete with artificial emotions.
After years of not feeling much of anything at all, she's fucking furious at Vriska for
everything she's done. She beats the everloving snot out of Vriska (probably fatally) and this
triggers Vrisk'a awakening on Prospit.
