  The scholarly criticisms of The whole Zeitgeist thing is enough for most people. That the entire
  solution is exactly the one they call for undoing for one is a huge example.
  For another thing, you can rip apart the movie easy enough with 3 points:
  They messed up with the whole religion thing and made claims that are not backed in fact(Origin
  stories for example)
  They use 9/11 truth to pull people in.
  While ending the fed is a great idea, a resource based, non monetary system is not possible to
  work. There is a reason why money came into existence in the first place.

  first your thinking zeitgeist 1, a movie made b4 the zeitgeist movement. the movement was made
  afterward when the director Peter joseph talked with Jacque Fresco, made another move called
  Zeitgeist Addendum. THAT is the movie that the Movement is about.
  the first movie is something i had some issues with but i saw it mostly as something to shake
  things up. The religion segment seemed pretty sketchy, but thats only because i didnt look into
  their sources on that, because i dont care about religion. the 911 thing is pretty fucked up and
  well reasoned out... draw your own conclusion, or don't. but the last one about how money is made
  and runs stuff is entirely true. just people blindly accept that 'its just the way it is' and
  dont do shit about it.
  we, as a whole society, cannot fathom a world without money. so it looks pretty odd, implausible,
  impossible, insane... but when you actually LOOK at the reasoning its sound.
