Anyway, they normally live in deserts so they probably count as an exotic animal, which some
states and countries require you to have a permit for you to own.

They will put you out about $2000 a piece as the breeders are very clever in keeping the supply
low. They also require an expensive diet and massive amounts of proofing the house to prevent
damage. They are VERY energetic and move faster than you could ever hope to. A handful... but
mine is a sweetheart. They are hard to handle for anyone new to the species so be prepared for a
lot of work and attention.
