Also, the person who wrote this, John Denver, was in Maryland when he was inspired and wrote this
song. (Approximately Gaithersburg) :)

state. It is a road close to her native Washington, D.C., in nearby Montgomery County, Maryland,
where Denver often visited."
And yes, I love this song, and driving through Maryland's countrysides, you really get this
feeling.
