I hear a lot of people hated this game because it wasn't weeaboo enough for them and because they
couldn't figure out the controls besides moving and swinging the Wiimote around.I loved it though.

While my opinion will forever be that FF just needs to die, I have to give credit to some things.

Sort of... A lot of people didn't like this game because...
1. It's not a JRPG and barely has any Action RPG elements as would be usually expected in a Final
Fantasy game
2. Voice acting isn't that great for a game of it's time, sometimes the voices don't lip-sync
3. Majority of the game is spent playing mini games and acquiring achievements
4. Your only means of attack is throwing objects at enemies and throwing enemies around with
Layle's telekinetic abilities
5. Game is short story-wise
To be honest, this game is not for people without patience and it's obvious most gamers prefer to
shoot through the game as quickly as possible, which led to so many negative reviews as some of
the reasons stated above and more that I can't fit in this comment.

Since the game is a Wii exclusive title, most gaming review company's likely wanted to get this
game over with so they could immediately get back to bigger gaming company's such as Sony and
Microsoft.
Adding more to reasons...
6. The music but not that many people care about that
7. Confusing controls. Many people barely play the Wii period so you can understand why many
people had a hard time with it. Most people state that they don't like how they have to swing the
Wiimote in order to throw objects all the time, they obviously don't know about the B button as
an alternate means of throwing object not to mention unlike swinging, the B button can be used to
use an enemies "special ability, lol". I also hear some people have a hard time adjusting the
camera even though there are buttons to easily fix this, but as I've already stated already, they
spent most of game rushing through it.
