for XY
(where XY is literally represented by 10X+Y,
10 times the tens digit, 1 times the ones digit )
(10X+Y) - (X+Y)
= 10X + Y - X - Y
Y - Y = 0
=10X - X
=9X
such that regardless of the two digit number chosen, the solution is always a multiple of 9.
In the chart, all multiples of 9 are represented by the same symbol, so that regardless of the
result, the predicted symbol matches the individual solution.
>> [_] Anonymous 12/22/10(Wed)21:07 No.1439545
In other words, every 9th symbol is the same.
>> [_] Anonymous 12/22/10(Wed)21:57 No.1439579
it failed with me :/ ...

It can't fail. The formula is always right. You just suck at basic addition and subtraction.

9 18 27 36 and so on are all the same symbol and your answer is always a multiple of 9.
>> [_] Anonymous 12/22/10(Wed)23:07 No.1439623
I don't get it. When I do the math for different results, getting diffrent symbols, it get's it
right. Even though the outcome is a different expected symbol. It's either chance, or some how
it's predicting my results.
>> [_] Anonymous 12/22/10(Wed)23:13 No.1439625
If you pay attention to the symbols you're remembering, the symbols corresponding to each number
change every time you hit "try again" so that the "prediction" will follow the formula.

ITT: people who think they're smart but either suck at basic arithmetic or don't realize that the
symbols change each time and somehow get messed up because of that
>> [_] Anonymous 12/23/10(Thu)00:37 No.1439670
Always a multiple of 9. Don't do any math. Just look at 9, and then see it's "prediction". Always
the same. It randomizes symbols between sessions to give the illusion that it is predicting your
behavior.
For whatever reason, the program occasionally puts different symbols at 90 and 99. Might explain
why some people get the "wrong" prediction.

0 is also different. 0, 90, and 99 are multiples of nine that cannot be achieved with a two-digit
number.

If you go through and look at it, the symbols for 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, and 81 are all
the same. Only 0, 90, and 99 (as stated before) are unachievable multiples. So, no matter what,
when you math CORRECTLY, it becomes a multiple of 9, and you then have the symbol that it has
listed. If you haven't noticed, the symbols change each time you click, too.
