beliefs about blood type that you see with zodiac signs. Its supposed to effect personality,
compatibility, there are even fucking horoscopes for blood types.

It's because after WWII, the American Occupants urged people to find out their blood types in
case of emergencies, and to encourage this the Japanese newspapers began printing horoscope-type
things related to blood type, including partner-compatibility things (since it's tuesday, A types
will have good relations with AB types).
Eventually, the different blood types were associated with different personality types. A types
are more athletic and outgoing, B are bookish, O are nurturing and caring, while AB are arrogant
and eccentric.
Knowing a character's blood type usually is a good way to instantly get a handle of their
personality, and also a way to see if you're compatible with the character.
