Utensils: flash decompiler The way is to know flash, it can load external objects. To see from where look at the lower left of your browser while it's loading. So we download the small .swf and we visit the load location for more. So at static0.hellokittyonline.com we notice it's forbidden. The flash file IS granted access, so we assume the root folder is protected but the flash takes files from unprotected sub-folders. So we go to the decompiler and hope we can find those.

We thank heavens figuratively when we notice that the thing only loads a few things and only has 3 resources, instead of a possible 100 to scan and 30 external objects to download. We hope the external objects don't load things of their own and that they're actually downloadable. With a search function and typing in ".swf" we try to find any external files. Note that these can be more than swf, but thankfully they aren't in this case. First we search for the site it tried to load from though, to find the folder it considers the "root". This site appears to be http://static0.hellokittyonline.com/us/f lash_tutorials/ and it's forbidden. We notice that there are .swf files who are neatly named ch1, ch8. These are likely chapters, and though it doesn't mention ch7 there is a ch1 and ch8 so we can assume we need to download everything in between. Trial and error will tell.
>> [_] Anon 842330 From what I've been able to puzzle together is that (_root.swf_to_load == "HKO" + _root.myVer + "tutorial_Ch8.swf") doesn't just point to the swf file name but that it adds HKO in front of it for some reason. This happened with your own file too, <HKO8>tutorial_index.swf. We also notice that the file has an 8 added. I honestly do not know exactly why. Anyway, now we have the links to the flash chapters. It's Root + HKO + flash file. Therefore we download http://static0.hellokittyonline.com/us/f lash_tutorials/HKO8tutorial_Ch1.swf . Then we download 2 through 8. When 8 plays we get congratulated on beating the game, so we must be doing something right.

Utensils: Sothink Quicker Now that we've acquired all the files that make up this flash, we need to pay attention to the File structure. The index file loads the chapters from what it considers the root. If you change the actionscript in the index swf, it'll all work. Since I don't actually KNOW action script yet, and since my time is up, you'll have to find out how to edit it yourself. Goodluck, it's only a few lines. I'm sure someone can tell you.
