Perhaps imagination is a better way to put it. Observe how the glass has depth when they are
putting their hands on it, yet when drawn on it apears on his side of the glass. rather than
faded out like it would be if viewed from his side like when she writes "you are with me" "just
some glass between" and can see herbehind the words so obviously you are looking through his eyes
at words he wrote other wise they would be faded.

I really like the way colours and lighting are used in this flash.
The way the frames are drawn adds to the atmosphere of the flash and to me seem to emphasize the
subject of drawing.
Altogether the hand-drawn look, the opening of the music and the colouring gives it a nice
ethereal feel. Almost heavenly or nostalgic.
I also like how things are imposed on top of other things.
Mixed feelings about the music... I mean, it's the right KIND of music and it does seem to fit
well, but.... lyrical music isn't really the best for anything. It might be kind of annoying if
someone understands both English and Japanese, I don't know.
I really fucking wish it didn't loop like that though. I wanted to read the goddamn credits.

I think the intention is partially to shock you. He topples the box over and the music isn't
playing at that point.. You're supposed to think about it.
Also, you're missing the point. The idea is that she wouldn't be able to be with him if he didn't
have that arm.
She didn't need the arm as much as he did so she sacrificed it for him.
Aside from the real-world idea of not being able to attach another person's limbs to someone
else's body quite so easily, I don't see how doing this for someone you love seems deranged. It's
a huge decision to make.. nobody can really say if it's the best one or not, but it's not
deranged.

The hand is feminine and like I said in >>1522264 they have opposing hands. she does not show her
left hand during that part and she's wearing something she's wearing a blanket so that you don't
know what's in the box until they end. It's also coloured like her.
In any case, just the way they presented you KNOW it's her hand and not his.
The flash wouldn't make sense if it was his hand; It wouldn't have any symbolic or emotional
meaning otherwise. It all leads up to it... the whole idea that the glass only feels cold when he
touches it, the wall between them and how she becomes a part of him or wants to become a part of
him.. there's a lot of reason why it would be the case and again it looks very clearly to be her
hand. Why would the go through the effort of giving her that weird cloak thing if that wasn't the
case? It just.. even the way she the writes somehow you just know. Saying it isn't her hand is
almost like arguing that Spike didn't die.
