I've been making some puzzles in flash to use in my D&D game. Just things to let my player try to
figure out to give a dungeon some flavor or so i can take a piss break. But I'm running out of
ideas. Any suggestions?
There's one gem in the pile that is unique.

This one is just not fair, it would take way to long, maybe make it so you can sift through with
mouse movements rather than drags, also liquid distribution puzzles are always good

I like the idea of this one, but doing it gem by gem is extremely tedious.

I want to solve this one out of pure frustration, but if my DM ever bought this out in a game, I
would punch him in the throat. I can appreciate you wanting to give your dungeon some flavor and
give yourself some time to take a piss break, but I'm pretty sure a pizza could be delivered
faster than it would take to solve this.

you think a pile of gems is a good idea as a puzzle?
i don't know abou your players, but I've never had a group that I could say "you see a pile of
gems--" "sweet we put it in a sack"
there's no "hold on, it's a puzzle guys"

Also, the gems keep getting stuck on my pointer, even when I release them. Think it's a bug.

You're correct. I FINALLY found the damn thing (it's a turquoise-ish gem and was buried at the
very bottom of the pile, left of the center, which is unfortunate since I tend to work
right-to-left) and it took me over 30 minutes. You'd be getting your pizza for free by that point.
OP, my suggestions:
1) Fewer gems
2) Fewer goddamn gems
3) Bigger gems so you're not clicking on such tiny things all the time
4) I appreciate that you have the non-unique gems in various orientations, but bear in mind that
it could be misleading when you say there's one gem in the pile that's unique and people might
waste time (like I did for the first few minutes) trying to match gems by orientation as well as
color
5) SO MANY GEMS WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN
6) If someone asks to use Detect Magic or some similar spell to try to find it more easily, just
give it to 'em unless you fix it up in accordance with my other suggestions
