as far as the collab goes, the amount of memory required to contain all the songs in it would be
monstrous, it would have to be something similar to what the VIP flash does and the animation
would just have to recognize when audio is actually playing. basically its alot of work that i am
very unfamiliar with. I understand how to do it in theory, the only limitations are my knowlege
of flash and the capabilities of flash itself

you shouldnt require anything to be client side, all the information would need to be streamed
through the flash from a server based cache, requiring a client based component would defeat the
whole purpose of the flash and reduce its ease of use

I see, but wouldnt it be better to have a local program running that can update from a server, so
the server isnt constainly packeted, and you could watch it even offline?

thats the drawback, it wouldnt be viewable offline, but who doesnt have internet these days,
