Why is this in German, only East Germany was communist?
>> [_] Anonymous 11/22/08(Sat)10:31 No.851300
Germany had a lot of communists before Hitler got into power, after that their number dropped
rather fast for some reason.

I have to admit I'm wondering that too. Why does it use CCCP symbology and German language

Communism is pretty popular in Germany even today. Most upperclass teenagers go through a hippie
- rage against society - phase.
>> [_] Anonymous 11/22/08(Sat)10:55 No.851312
Yeah, the communists got a big upswing in the seventies unless i am mistaken, with Rote Armee
Fraktion and other groups getting quite violent, things have calmed a bit since then obviously.
Still this song seems like it is from the older 30s-40s breed of communists, might actually be
WWII since it references taking up arms against the enemies of the Soviet Union.

Isn't that true of teens anywhere? I know I went through that phase when I was 15, and I'm an
Americunt.

Evaluating this based solely on content...
It's a catchy song. Very classical Soviet-esque, despite being in German.
Too bad it had the shitty animation.
